We took great care in studying how legal outsourcing would impact law firms of various sizes and reviewed several billing scenarios with regard to outsourcing legal work. We found a great resource in a recently published ethics opinion applicable to New York lawyers outlining the areas surrounding certain billing issues law firms may face when participating in outsourcing. Although we feel that this opinion is a great outline of the issues as a whole, we encourage you to seek the opinions of the state in which you conduct your business.

Finally, we are certain that you will find our prices to be a lot less than what our competitors are charging.

How do you receive assignments from us and who will we have to contact?
You can send assignments through our secure website portal. We will contact you if more information is needed. Once your project has been reviewed and approved, we will present the work product in stages for your approval in order to complete the submitted assignment.

What are the typical steps taken to complete an assignment?
Step 1: Client submits a template to demonstrate how the work should be organized and the case background and facts. The Initial research is conducted, organized, and an analysis of the potential issues is presented through a first draft.

Step 2: Client reviews the first draft and decides if (s)he wants to continue researching the issue using Indilex Outsourcing, or would like to use the first draft as a starting point for completing their own assignment. If the client decides to continue using our services, the client may highlight which points of analysis they would like to have emphasized. The client may then insist that the case law cited be Shepardized or further researched. NOTE: This step may repeat more than once throughout the workflow process, with the client made aware of the time allotted to their project at each point of correspondence.

Step 3: Once the final work product is approved by the client, the assignment will come to an end and the process can begin again with a new assignment.
